Hero Arkadag visited the Kazan International Equestrian Sports Complex

During his visit to the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, the National Leader of the Turkmen People visited the Kazan International Equestrian Sports Complex.

There, Hero Arkadag was warmly welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Food, Chairman of the Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and the Director of the International Equestrian Sports Complex.

The National Leader of the Turkmen People and the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, viewed an exhibition of Tatarstan’s agricultural products organized at the complex. Various types of food products were on display.

Specialists briefed the guests on the exhibition’s features. The National Leader of the Turkmen People and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan expressed interest in the works of art dedicated to horses. A special place in this section of the exhibition was given to the book of Hero Arkadag “The Horse – a Symbol of Loyalty and Happiness”, published in Russian.

At the Kazan International Equestrian Sports Complex, Hero Arkadag and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan watched the races, which also included Turkmen riders who rode the horses of Tatar origin. The Turkmen athletes won prizes.

Then the awards ceremony took place. The National Leader of the Turkmen People presented cups to the Turkmen jockeys who won the race and congratulated them on their success.

The fellow citizens expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen People for the opportunities to develop national horse breeding.

Upon the request of the riders, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan posed for a memorable photo with them.

It is worthwhile to note that the “Russia – Islamic World: Cooperation EXPO” exhibition is taking place in Kazan as part of the KazanForum 2026, and Turkmenistan’s national pavilion is located there.

The exhibition of Turkmenistan showcases achievements in various economic vectors, as well as in the private sector. Specifically, products from the oil and gas industry, chemical industry, food and textile industries, and construction materials are displayed. The national pavilion also demonstrates achievements in areas such as transport and communications, healthcare, and tourism. The exhibition also highlights developments in the electronics industry.

Also on display are traditional national objects, an integral part of the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, including Turkmen carpets and jewelry.

A special place in the exhibit holds the multi-volume scientific encyclopedic work “Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan” by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag. Translated into various languages, this work is internationally recognized as a valuable guide for practitioners.

Exhibitors praised the organizational level of the Turkmenistan pavilion.

Turkmen national clothing was showcased at the “Fashion of National Costumes of Women of the Muslim World” festival, held as part of the KazanForum.

The participation of Turkmen fashion designers in this prestigious festival, held in Kazan, provides an opportunity to demonstrate the harmonious mix of national traditions and customs, rich cultural heritage, and contemporary fashion trends.
