List of Documents Required for Visa Application

1. An invitation issued by a legal entity or an individual, duly registered  by the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan;

2. Original passport and one color copy thereof;

3. For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic : a copy of the national identity card;

4. Completed visa application form;

5. Completed questionnaire;

6. Two recent photographs (3×4 cm).

For minors, the following additional documents shall be submitted:

1. Original and copy of the birth certificate;

2. Copies of the parents’ passports;

3. Marriage certificate or divorce certificate of the parents;

*** Notarized consent for the child’s travel if the minor is traveling with one parent or an authorized representative.

Documents Required for Visa Application through Petition at the Consular Section of Turkmenistan (in the absence of an invitation):

1) Passport and one color copy of the page containing the photograph;

2) Written application for visa issuance;

3) Completed visa application form and two recent color photographs (3×4 cm);

4) Certificate from the place of employment or study;

For obtaining a visa for the purpose of visiting a close relative, attending funeral ceremonies, or commemorating the anniversary of a relative’s death, the following shall be provided:

A copy of the deceased person’s document;

A document confirming the family relationship.

*** For attending a death anniversary: “HM” – Humanitarian visa;

*** For visiting a close relative who is unable to issue an invitation due to объективных причин: “PR1” – Private visa.

Attention: Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic born in the territory of Turkmenistan must additionally provide: A copy of a certificate confirming renunciation of Turkmen citizenship; or A certificate confirming absence of Turkmen citizenship.

Upon completion of visa processing, applicants will receive an SMS notification (via WhatsApp) from the Consulate of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic at: +996 (558) 65-77-77.
