A meeting with the Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On November 20, 2025, a meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov and Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Chu Hyun Baek.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation in the political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. It was noted that high-level visits and regular contacts play a key role in strengthening and expanding Turkmen-Korean relations.

Special attention was paid to the preparations for the Central Asia – Republic of Korea Summit.

Noting the long-term successful activities of Korean companies in Turkmenistan, the sides reviewed the progress of ongoing projects in various fields.

The diplomats also discussed the participation of the Republic of Korea delegation in the International Forum of Peace and Trust, scheduled for December 12, 2025, in Ashgabat.
