The official visit of the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan to the French Republic has started

On May 5, 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for an official visit to the French Republic.

Turkmen-French cooperation in the political and diplomatic sphere is successfully developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats. Political consultations are regularly held between the foreign ministries of the two countries.

Several hours later, the plane of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov landed at the Paris Orly International Airport.

At the airport, the National Leader of the Turkmen people spoke with the official representative of France.

Warmly welcoming the distinguished guest, the representative of the friendly country noted that France highly values multilateral cooperation with Turkmenistan and wished the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan a successful visit.

Having expressed gratitude for the kind words, the National Leader of the Turkmen people noted with satisfaction that Turkmenistan has maintained fruitful relations with France for many years, actively developing bilateral partnership established in various fields.

In this regard, confidence was expressed that the current visit will give a powerful impetus to the further development of multifaceted cooperation between Turkmenistan and the French Republic and will open a new page in the history of interstate relations.
